This local single-hop arrangement is shown in a 1968 diagram of links from the Post Office Tower. Described "6 GHz Stonebridge Park, Television, 6 miles" it was used in the 1970s by London Weekend Television.A late 1970s diagram of circuits controlled by the London Television Network Switching Centre shows the site (under its alternative name "Wycombe Road") with cable links only. It seems likely the 6 GHz channel(s) would have been required for main links as traffic increased.
