Stonebridge Park (ITA) - London Tower (temporary?)

History

This local single-hop arrangement is shown in a 1968 diagram of links from the Post Office Tower. Described "6 GHz Stonebridge Park, Television, 6 miles" it was used in the 1970s by London Weekend Television.

A late 1970s diagram of circuits controlled by the London Television Network Switching Centre shows the site (under its alternative name "Wycombe Road") with cable links only. It seems likely the 6 GHz channel(s) would have been required for main links as traffic increased.
